This morning the routine continued. 7am wake up, catch the train, travel for almost an hour and rush to enter the arena. Why would it be any different?
It kicked off pretty well with the morning service Paul and the combined streams with DZ and JH. Darlene spoke about the heart of the father for the needy. It was quite cool that Darlene made a reference to Royal Rangers as the place where she was saved way back then. I cheered out when she said that and so did some others, but it was too quick to ID anyone! Joel Houston said things from his heart and why he worked on the I Heart project. I wish I could do something like that with my video skills and music.
After that, it was another two sessions of electives. Thankfully RT made us lunches so that we wouldn’t feel hungry. I headed off to listen to human trafficking in greece and Christine Caine led the session and shared her personal experience from ignorance to championing the cause with her ministry called the A21 Campaign. It also occurs quite a bit in Cambodia and was hoping to follow up on that. I took a change of topic in the second session with how to create an atmosphere under the Creative Design Stream. SS & KS were there too and we thought it would be cool to go back and help redo the church office to make it nice and cosy.
The night sessions were great with Joseph Prince & Joyce Meyer. Joseph Prince was a bit jumpy and un-methodological with his preaching so obviously I fell asleep. Joyce Meyer is a real motivational type of speaker and its hard to believe she is 65. Thankfully her messages aren’t antiquated. Michael Gungor rocked in the second service with his amazing guitar skills and music. He also capped off his performance with Hillsong’s “Shout Unto God” It felt great to be able to recognise most of his songs.
Headed back to a nice apartment and failed to enjoy it.
