I’m here and reporting live from Experimental Biology 2008 Conference. Went down for a late start of the conference. This is by far the largest event I have attended with over 10,000 people attending. The badge pick up was quite painless as there were many booths opened to help out. Large signage made it easy to find the venues & meeting rooms. The halls for the main events are huge! Even for the oral sessions, the single room had more people than the total number of people I would have presented my research in all the years of my candidature. This conference is really well organized and massive. A brisk walk from end to end incites sweat. The booklet is like a phone directory and its so full of presentations and poster listings. I wish they made it easier to look up the parallel session. They should do it like a TV guide.
EB2008 will run through till Wednesday and I’ll try to update as often as I can.
